Item no 761 A pair of antique sandstone gate pier caps with 14" ball finials on collared square necks on square bases. The tapered necks under the finials have been recently restored but are now securely fixed to the bases and the repairs will soon be covered by the existing moss. They were originally at an entrance to Hopwood Park, since demolished, and now the name of a nearby service station on the M42. 19th Century 27" x 25" x 26" high SOLD
