An old stone sharpening wheel.

An old sandstone wheel with a square aperture for a shaft and a tide mark from where it was previously half buried in a Herefordshire garden. This type of wheel was typically held vertical in a frame and spun round by a handle on the shaft to sharpen farm and garden iron tools.
