| Item no 833
An old red sandstone staddle stone with a large domed top on a tapered round base. This staddle stone has lots of character with its mushroom-like shape despite the top having been used upside down for many years as a birdbath. This type of red sandstone will be rapidly re-colonised with moss when exposed to the elements. North Worcestershire.
18th/19th century
24" diameter x 36" high
