| Item no 732
A charming carved-marble figure of a young girl with her hair tied back, and wearing a loose fitting summer dress while leaning against a rocky outcrop. The figure is finely executed in good quality marble which now has a weathered patination after many years outside. Although apparently not signed or dated, the figure is probably by a British sculptor from the late Victorian / Edwardian period. It was formerly in an overgrown cottage garden in Wiltshire.
Late 19th / Early 20th Century
39" high
