An antique carved marble figure on pedestal

An antique carved marble figure of a young man sitting on a rock holding a cloak behind his head on an associated stone and composition-stone pedestal. The good quality marble figure is unsigned, but it probably depicts Narcissus looking at his reflection and it could be used effectively close to water. Its early history is unknown but it spent many years in the mid 20th century as part of an open garden adjacent to a main road in Slough, Berkshire.
