Item no 754 An antique stone trough carved with an oval basin with two original channels to the rim and a square drainage hole. The original purpose of this bowl is unclear but it may well have been a stoop to hold holy water. It makes an attractive planter for alpines or an interesting old artefact in its own right. From the Welsh Borders. Probably Medieval 18" diameter (approx) x 9" high SOLD
