| Item no 945
A large and deep sandstone trough with a bowed front with an original drainage hole and an overflow channel on the rim. This is an exceptional trough for both its scale and soundness, and also for its rough-hewn character. It could also be used as a water trough. It was formerly in the garden of an old rectory in south Shropshire.
18th/19th Century
41" x 39" x 24" high
