An old stone urn on plinth
Item no 455

An old limestone urn, carved with vine leaves under a beaded band and a foliate rim, on an associated carved limestone panelled plinth. The urn is made from a softish limestone known as clunch and may have originally been for internal use in a large conservatory or orangery.
