| Item no 670
An unusual and amusing Pulham terracotta urn decorated with fox hunting scenes including one rider in disarray after his horse is startled by a swineherd. This is an unusual subject for James Pulham who is best known for his gothic designs. The dark red colour is also unusual because most Pulham stoneware is a buff or brown colour but the oval stamp on the base confirms the maker's identity.
Mid - Late 19th Century
15" diameter x 15" high
