A Stiff & Co. stoneware urn on plinth

A good antique stoneware garden urn on plinth, the campana-shaped urn decorated with vines and with two masked loop handles, the square plinth decorated on each side with laurel wreaths. The urn has an impressed oval stamp reading Stiff and Sons Lambeth for James Stiff and Sons who produced high-fired terracotta goods from 1863 until they were taken over by Doulton in 1913.
