| Item no 47
A buff sandstone octagonal font with a circular lead lined basin and an octagonal base. Unusually the whole of the font apart from the base is carved from a single block of stone. It was reputedly originally in a chapel associated with one of the hospitals in Stoke-on-Trent. It could be adapted as an interesting water feature.
