| Item no 1066
An old copper boiler of typical form with riveted sides and base. These old farm utensils have become sought-after garden planters because of the blue/green verdigris colours that they develop and also their versatility. This example is a generous size and has been temporarily planted with a specimen azalea which would not tolerate the alkaline nature of most composition-stone planters.
19th century
25" diameter x 18" high
