An antique terracotta garden urn.

An antique terracotta centre urn or jardiniere modelled as a decorative bowl supported by three herons on a reed decorated base also with a moulded composition-stone base. This ornamental feature is made from high-fired, yellow terracotta and is stamped 'Garnkirk' on the base for the Garnkirk Fireclay Company who operated on a large scale in Lanarkshire, Scotland for most of the 19th century from the 1830's onwards.
