Item no 69 An interesting old stone wellhead of circular form with a wrought iron overthrow on an associated base. The wellhead has a lovely weathered patination and is carved with eagles and armorial symbols . The square base has a round aperture of a similar size to the wellhead allowing it to potentially be used over an existing well .Possibly French although it has been in an English garden for many years . 19th century or earlier 33" dia (wellhead) 48" x 48" (base) x 86" H overall SOLD
