A cast iron garden bench with a shaped seat and ornate sides and back. This is a modern bench derived from the original medallion bench designed and produced by the Coalbrookdale Foundry, Ironbridge, during the Victorian era. The name refers to the oval medallion in the centre of the back depicting a seated female figure holding bird, possibly a dove.
