An antique sandstone trough from near Tewksbury, Gloucestershire, of rectangular form raised on two matching stone supports. This trough has unusual dimensions and is much deeper than most troughs of this type which were usually made for feeding farm animals. The increased depth (internal depth 11") makes it a versatile trough for planting. There is a drainage hole through the base.
