An antique Lefco Ware garden jardiniere, the bowl shaped planter supported on a separate tapered column. Both parts are stamped 'Lefco Ware' which was a frost resistant, cream coloured glazed terracotta produced by the Leeds Fireclay Company from the end of the 19th century into the early part of the 20th century. This Art Nouveau influenced design was one of their most celebrated ornamental products and this is an especially good example with very little damage and an attractive patination of distressed white paint.
Late 19th/Early 20th Century.
