An antique sandstone staddlestone from Derbyshire, the square top supported on a tall tapered square base. The design of old staddlestones varied considerably from region to region depending on the stone available locally and the customs of the area and these are unusually tall and thin with chisel etched surfaces. There are three similar stones in stock all from the same farm in the Derbyshire Dales. Dimensions are approximate.
