Two old limestone staddle stones from Berkshire, the round tops supported on tapered bases. These stones are made from a pale coloured limestone similar to Portland stone and are well weathered with lots of lichen and moss. N.B. The larger staddle stone had a large chunk sheared off at the base which has been reaffixed to improve stability.
