A large antique limestone trough, from the area around Honeybourne, Worcestershire, now raised on two tapered limestone supports. This trough is relatively weathered because it was until recently in a farm outbuilding where it had been used as a brine bath. It is not exactly rectangular in shape with one end being slightly shorter than the other but is very stable on the two stone supports and makes a great feature for planting with flowers.
18th or 19th century.
