A large vintage earthenware urn, the twin handled urn decorated with ribbon tied swags and supported on a square base. The distinctive grey mix used in this fired earthenware is surprisingly durable and has survived largely intact although there is a large chip missing from the square base. It doesn't appear to be stamped and the maker is unknown but vintage planters made from this type of earthenware crop up quite regularly.
