Gates & Gate Finials 

We are very keen on old reclaimed gates. They were usually handmade by skilled blacksmiths and of such good quality that they continue to perform their function for future generations, despite being old already. Antique gates are a great way to give a property unmistakeable individuality.

    A salvaged wrought iron garden gate with unusual shepherd crook finials which has recently been sand blasted and repainted. The top rail is a flat topped bar which doesn't look original but is punched through the uprights so must be an old modification possibly predating the widespread use of welding. 19th century
