Salvaged Stone Bench

A salvaged stone bench, the rectangular stone top now supported on two salvaged stone bases. The bases are reduced column sections, probably originally from a church or other ecclesiastical building, and each has a quirky carved detail, one a grotesque mask, the other a stylised flower. 

19th Century or earlier.
