An unusual vintage garden bench made from pitch pine on cast iron end supports with a reversible back. Called a tram seat because of the way the seat can face two ways this bench has been cleaned and the pine seat and back treated with a clear timber preservative. The cast iron supports are stamped 'John Heywood' who presumably was the maker.
19th or early 20th century.
