A salvaged garden table, the rectangular sandstone top supported on an iron base with a maker's label reading 'Matterson's Coventry'. The stone top came from a country house in the Welsh borders, near Hay on Wye, and the iron base was originally a saw bench. The combination makes a good garden drinks or serving table. 

19th/20th Century.
