Antique Marble Benches (Pair)

A fine pair of antique marble benches, the rectangular tops with egg and dart moulding each supported on bases carved as mythical winged lions. These benches are unusually long and the tops are substantial which is why they have survived exposure to the elements without significant damage. They are probably Italian in origin and likely to have been imported during the heyday of British garden design in the late Victorian/Edwardian period.
