A vintage garden bench, the wooden rails supported on scrolling wrought iron supports. There is a maker's roundel on the back for Charles Wicksteed and Co. Ltd. Kettering. Charles Wicksteed was a successful and innovative engineer who was a noted benefactor of the town of Kettering in particular opening a public park in 1921 called Wicksteed Park. This bench may be one of the designs made for Wicksteed Park.
