Vintage Garden Birdbath

A vintage garden birdbath carved from a natural sandstone, the square bath on a tapered square column on a separate square base. This is an attractive birdbath carved from a relatively unusual natural stone, most birdbaths of this type were carved from limestone, especially Portland stone from Dorset.

Probably early 20th century, possibly earlier.
