Antique Cast Iron Trough

A good and large antique cast iron trough, oval in shape with four integral feet and large iron rings attached to each rounded end. It was originally a water trough and the iron rings were used to tie up large farm animals, such as horses, so they had plenty of time to drink. It now has two drainage holes through the base and makes an unusual and versatile garden planter.
