Antique Oval Iron Troughs (Pair)

A pair of antique cast iron troughs from Lincolnshire, each oval in form with ring handles at each end. They were originally water troughs for large farm animals, especially horses, which could be tethered to the ring handles and left to drink in their own time. They make excellent garden planters and it is very rare to find a large matching pair like this. 

Priced as a pair of troughs.
