Holloways was the first Worcestershire stop in the 2023 RHS Giant Welly Tour.
Following spells in Gloucestershire at John Lewis and Regent Arcade in Cheltenham, the 10ft boot arrived at Holloways showrooms on March 20, where it remained until April 3, when it moved to the Crowngate shopping centre.
The tour marked a fortnight of celebrations to mark the 2023 RHS Malvern Spring Festival, the gardening showcase which runs from May 11th-14th at the Three Counties Showground, just 20 minutes from Holloways.
Diners enjoyed spring specials in the Glasshouse café, from a rack of Knightwick Butchers English lamb with salsa verde to our root vegetable RHS Welly, plus a delicious, homemade lemon posset.
Shoppers explored Holloways new-season garden furniture and outdoor living collections, the huge selection of handmade Italian terracotta pots and planters and discovered antiques courtyards brimming with statuary, staddle stones, sculpture and more.
Visitors took selfies with the giant welly, and posted on their social media with the hashtag #RHSMalvern.
They also had the chance to win VIP tickets to the RHS Malvern Spring Festival, including two tickets to the first day of the show, gold car parking and front row seats at TV gardener and author Frances Tophill's event in the Festival Theatre.
The event featured in the Worcester News and Malvern Gazette, as well as on Worcestershire and Herefordshire's tourism sites.
