Old Cast-Iron Trough

An old cast-iron rectangular trough with an internal marker's stamp for 'Tasker and Powle'. Originally a water trough for large animals such as cattle or horses, this trough is no longer water tight but will make an excellent large garden planter. It has an attractive weathered patination with traces of earlier green paint.
