A huge copper planter with a drainage spout on one side and two old riveted repairs. This was originally a brewery vessel, hence it's unusually large size, and it is stamped on the rim 'June 1860' with an illegible stamp for a maker in Stafford. It has been outside for many years and has developed an attractive green verdigris patination as a result. The spout could be cut back if required to make it more stable on firm ground.
