Vintage Wellhead Planter

An unusual composition stone planter cast in the style of an antique wellhead on a separate limestone base. Probably made in the early 20th century and taken from an antique original, this is an attractive design and it is surprising that it doesn't occur more often. There are a couple of old cracks through the rim but it seems structurally secure. The dimensions include the base, the top of wellhead is 24" x 24".
