Large Antique Sandstone Font

A large antique stone font from North Worcestershire carved from a fine grained pink sandstone. The large round bowl has a wide and deep interior with a drainage hole through the base and it should be relatively straightforward to adapt this font into a self contained water feature with the submersible pump in the bottom of the bowl.

This font had been in a private garden in North Worcestershire for many years but there is no history of where it originally came from, presumably a substantial church which has now gone.

This is a heavy item which will require moving with care which we are happy to advise on.
