Carved Limestone Date Stone

A carved limestone date stone relief carved with a cross and the date '1621'. The origin of this stone is not known but it may have been built into the wall of a chapel or other building with a religious connection to record the date of construction. It is possible that this is a modern carved limestone replacement for an earlier stone or it could have been installed indoors which is why it is relatively unweathered.
