An antique limestone staddle stone from the Winchcombe area of Gloucestershire, the round top supported on a tapered round base. This is a substantial staddle stone with good colouring and it has a distinctive hole on one side which was originally for a wooden tether peg which would have helped to secure the rick with a rope or tarpaulin.
18th/19th century.
