Antique Granite Staddle Stone

An antique granite staddlestone from a farm in North Devon of unusually tall and slim proportions. Originally the rough hewn base of this staddlestone would have been buried underground to act as a footing for the rick structure above. It will look best in a garden setting if the base is at least partially buried reducing the height by up to 20".
