An antique sandstone staddlestone from Nottinghamshire, the rough hewn round top on a similar tapered base. There is a shadow mark on the flat part of the top caused by a previous bird bath bowl which will be quickly covered by the natural regrowth of moss and lichen.

18th/19th Century.
