Large Antique Staddle Stone

A large antique staddle stone, the round top on a separate tapered base. Carved from what looks like ironstone and unusually large, this staddle stone probably originated from the Northamptonshire area and could be used as a standalone garden feature. It would look very effective if the base could be set into the earth slightly so that it appears to have come up from underground.
