Pair of Terracotta Griffins

A handed pair of Italian terracotta griffins each winged creature with one foot resting on a plain ball. These mythical creatures are ideal to be used as finials on gate piers, or either side of a doorway or step. They have been outside for a number of years and are part weathered but otherwise undamaged. Each one has a makers stamp to the base reading 'M.I.T.A.L Terracotte Impruneta'.
