An antique garden statue carved from limestone of a standing putto holding a sheaf of corn. This figure is larger than most statues of putti and is well carved with an attractive weathered patination. It is a 'season' figure and symbolises Summer by holding the traditional attribute of ripe corn. The composition stone plinth is also available if required for £250.
19th or early 20th century.
