Vintage Garden Statue of a Faun

A vintage garden statue of a faun made from composition stone and depicted seated on a stump holding a set of musical pipes. Fauns were Roman deities represented as half man, half goat which were generally considered to be benign. They were associated with untamed nature, especially forests, and have long been a popular subject for garden statuary. 

The dimensions and price are for the faun statue only. It is shown in our photos on a weathered composition stone column which is also available if required. The dimensions and price of the column are 12" x 12" x 40" high and £360.
