Neil Lossock Globe Artichoke

A large galvanised iron sculpture of a globe artichoke by Neil Lossock set into a salvaged sandstone square plinth from Shropshire. Neil Lossock is a fellow of the Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths and is renowned for his naturalistic sculptures, particularly of plants. This sculpture is recently galvanised to make it weather resistant and will weather to a softer grey colour after exposure to the elements.

The height includes the stone base.

The sculpture is modern, the stone base is 18th/19th century.
