A pair of antique bronze angels each looking downwards with hands on knees, now raised on two salvaged sandstone church spires. The angels are finely cast and have a weathered green verdigris patination so presumably have spent some time outdoors. They appear to have originally been brackets of some sort and perhaps were part of a larger fountain. They work well with the antique sandstone spires which raise them to a height at which they can be appreciated.
The height includes the stone spires, the height of the angels on their own is about 27"
The price is for the pair of angels together with the pair of stone spires.
The angels are probably 19th or early 20th century, the spires are much older, possibly medieval.
