Antique Twin Trough

An unusual rectangular sandstone trough from Shropshire carved asymmetrically into two parts both of which currently hold water. It is now raised on a rough hewn sandstone base and could, with minor modifications, be used either as a birdbath or a planter or a combination of both. 

18th/19th century.
