Two similar antique stone troughs from West Gloucestershire, each of typical pump trough form with bowed fronts and raised on four stone feet. They are larger than the pump troughs usually found in the West midlands region and each have 3" niches towards the back of the side walls suggesting they were originally water troughs.

They are larger than the pump troughs usually found in the West midlands region and each have 3" niches towards the back of the side walls suggesting they were originally water troughs. Being similar in shape and colour they provide a rare opportunity to make a 'pair' of stone troughs.
