Browse this archive to view some of the interesting, inspiring, fascinating and curious objects that have passed through our hands over the years. From classical garden antiques including statues, fountains, finials and urns to carved stone staddlestones, troughs, cider mills and wrought iron gates and benches, you'll find lots to inspire you.
A large rectangular stone trough from West Gloucestershire with chamfered corners and a straight back making it ideal to go against a wall. The stone base of this trough was missing and made up with concrete but this has now been replaced with stone flagstones firmly secured to the walls so the trough will be robust enough to last for many years. It could be planted with deep rooted plants such as wall climbers and shrubs and the repairs will be scarcely visible when the trough is filled.
