An old Cotswold stone trough from Gloucestershire of rectangular form raised on twin block supports. There is a remnant of an old iron frame fitted to one corner of this trough which was originally rectangular and went round the whole of the top. It was probably either holding iron partitions or securing a fitment for water depending on whether the trough was originally for feeding or watering animals. The trough has a lovely aged patination and plenty of room for planting.
