An Old Stone Trough

An old rectangular stone trough from Leek, Staffordshire, made from a hard crystaline stone which is attractively pale in colour underneath a well established covering of moss. This trough has good planting depth for it's size, 7" approx, and an original square drainage hole on one side. 

18th/19th century.
